Is There a Liposuction Diet Pill? Will it work?
Will A Liposuction Diet Pill Work?
Liposuction is proving to be one of the most popular forms of plastic surgery in the twenty-first century. Those who don’t want to use this plastic surgery technique have shown interest in a liposuction diet pill that will supposedly stop the blood supply to fat cells.
While this type of pill may produce substantial weight loss during the first month or so, it has yet to be determined if it is safe. To date, the liposuction diet pill has only been tested on mice. Additionally, there are supplements and pills making unsubstantiated claims about increasing metabolism and increased fat burning potential. These products are controversial and untested.
Beware of Ephedra
Of great concern is the return of ephedra in these pills and supplements. A recent court decision ruled that ephedra in small doses was not harmful. In fact, it has remained legal in Canada as long as it is not combined with anything else. Claims of ephedra-based supplements being marketed as a liposuction diet pill may be looming on the horizon. For more information about the ephedra ruling, go to your favorite search engine and type in, “Ephedra is Back” (without thequotation marks). Recent results ahowed in excess of 1.23 million articles.
Web sites offering a liposuction diet pill are trying to convince the overweight, slightly too heavy to morbidly obese that taking one or two tablets a day will burn fat without any consideration of diet and exercise. For those who want to see the immediate result of weight loss without doing the work, the cost of a liposuction diet pill, no matter how high, is a huge incentive.
When a quick fix is offered, people will convince themselves it will work. There are even advertisements boasting, “If you are just looking to lose five or six pounds, this product is not for you.” Advertisers know that suggesting that a diet supplement or enhancement is “not for you” will lure them into purchasing. What’s more, when they complain about the liposuction diet pill not working, the marketers can protect themselves because they can claim that their advertisements warn that the product isn’t suitable for everyone.
Ephedra is not the answer to morbid obesity, nor is it necessarily a healthy ingredient for a weight-loss supplement. Being found “not dangerous,” is not the same as being found to be healthy or useful, and the general public should know that there is no dietary liposuction pill.
There is no alternative pill for liposuction
Liposuction is a plastic surgery procedure and is complete with the expense, the side effects and the potential complications.
